I hope you survived the Christmas period without too much exhaustion. Christmas here at fabricdirect.com.au was busy and exciting. I decided at the last minute to make my girlfriends an eco-bag instead of wrapping paper for their presents (which was the yummiest chocolate dipped spoon, a great idea). So I chose some of my favourite fabrics, each chosen carefully to match their personalities and whipped these bags up. The girls and I were really happy with them, some of the fanciest shopping bags ever I'm sure.

So I'm now off swimming with Mackenzie, he is 6 and has just discovered how fun the water is, isn't it amazing when they find things out for themself. Last year he cried everytime the water got in his eyes, this year he is a little fish.

Wow what a day, I have been adding some of our favourite patterns to the web site today, a fun day of data entry but also a great chance to look at all my favourite designers, including Aussies - Moonshine, Natalie Ross, Janelle Wind and Hatched and Patched, of course I have many internationals such as Amy Butler and Tanya Whelan patterns as well.  All of the products we have on the site including all the patterns and books are in stock now and ready to ship today. . .
